Before I start this week’s restaurant review I feel it necessary to say that I love sandwiches! I love finding new and great places lunch spots for sandwiches so when Jared suggested Brown Bag Deli I was eager to give it a try.
Brown Bag Deli is off the beaten path in Point Loma located in a small strip mall. I guess it was a high school favorite of Jared and Bronson.
Upon going inside we were greeted by a friendly lady who took our orders. Our sandwiches were ready in a matter of minutes and they were placed in what else but a brown paper bag.
Enjoying the lovely San Diego weather we ate outside at a picnic table reminiscent of elementary school.
The sandwiches were enormous and delicious.
I think a key component to a great sandwich is the bread and this bread was outstanding. It was exceptionally soft yet dense and doughy.
I was the only one who couldn’t finish mine but it was just as good later on for dinner.
