We are currently in “Food Truck Month” but I thought I would take today as an opportunity to post about a lunch that we forgot to post. This Bauman Lunch was to Chiba Japanese Cuisine in Mission Valley. We had a sushi craving so we found the nearest sushi place from the studio and decided to check it out.
This place had really good reviews on Yelp so we thought that it would be very good. Unfortunately not everyone was in agreement about this being a good lunch. While the lunch specials where great and the portions where good, the consensus around the table was that the food was a bit lacking in flavor. As a group I don’t think we will return to this place since most of us did not like it. But it’s a regular place that I visit personally since it’s so cheap and a great place when you want a quick sushi fix on a budget.
