DELICIOUS!! That’s what this week’s Bauman Lunch was…
We all have been wanting to try the new BBQ place in Hillcrest and we were not disappointed by Brazen BBQ. Not only is it a cool restaurant with amazing food, but they have a bar too! The place was filled with people enjoying good food. We put our orders in with a few recommendations from the staff and took a seat in one of their booths. Bronson had the Signature Pulled Pork Sandwich which came on a sweet bun. Josie had the Rack of Pork Spare Ribs with a side of Crispy Macaroni and Cheese. Zimmer and Joe split the Double Blot Platter for Two, which had Pulled Pork, Brisket, and Pork Spare Ribs. We all tried a few of the sides and some of our favorites were the Smoked Kernel Corn Melody, Ancho Spiced Black Beans, Cornbread and Brazen Fries. The atmosphere was fresh and new, they have great service and the food was mouth watering. We all left VERY satisfied and Zimmer even did her first plank!
