For this weeks Bauman Lunch we took inspiration from the UPTOWN Magazine. The magazine is full of great deals. We found a 25% off coupon for Taste of Thai, and with 3 ½ stars on yelp, we thought it might be worth trying.
This week Jared’s sister, Julie, who came to visit us for the first time at our new photography studio, joined us. Our intern Ellie also joined us. This was Ellie’s first Bauma Lunch.
Taste of Thai is located in Hillcrest on University Avenue. The place has a really comfortable environment. The dining room was spacious and had really big booths around the room. There was little artificial light during lunch time, and the room was lit by a big northern facing window.
For the most part I think that we enjoyed the food. The portions were big and the prices where fair on their lunch special menu. However, most of us where not Thai food experts or fans, so we did not have much to base it on. I am not sure if we will return to this restaurant, but it was a good deal with their lunch specials and the coupon we found in the magazine.
On the way back to the studio, we had to pull over and change a tire on Jacob’s car. He must have somehow got a flat on the way there and it was completely deflated by the time we were done with lunch.
