Having just gotten married, one of my favorite memories from the weekend was our rehearsal dinner. Not that the wedding wasn’t awesome, but the rehearsal dinner is such a different experience. You’re surrounded by the closest family and friends that you have – its such a special time. You’re feeling all the anticipation of the following day, and yet you’re starting to relax because you realize all the planning is over with.
I was invited out to the Grand Del Mar by the Gilmore family to provide rehearsal dinner photography. Not having ever met anyone from the family, it was so special to literally be a “fly on the wall”. I was able to disappear into the crowd and go unnoticed 🙂 It was so great to hear all the toasts and stories that got told. There were enough touching moments that I think I might have even shed a tear or two 🙂
