Phew! What a week! I just got back from an insane week filled with no sleep, tons of fun, and lots of craziness 🙂 I’ve got a bunch of pictures for you below!
So we started off the weekend last Friday with my good friend Peter’s bachelor party. Peter and Erin are getting married in May in Santa Barbara and Bronson Pate will be shooting their wedding. You might remember them – they were the couple who were featured in the New York Times for the proposal photography I did for them! Anyways, we traveled up to San Francisco/Oakland for a Golden State Warriors game. I love the Bay Area and we had a great weekend up there!
On Sunday, I hopped on a plane for Las Vegas for WPPI!!!! This year, I was speaking at the annual photographer’s convention. The week ended up being a blast – I got to meet a ton of awesome photographers and learned so much. Team Bauman made the trek out for my presentation on Tuesday night, which was really special for me.
For those photographers who went to my presentation, I really appreciate all the encouraging words many of you said afterwards. I was really excited to share with you all and hope it helped in some way. I was stoked to hear that the room was packed and people will spilling over into the hallways 🙂 If you want, I would REALLY appreciate you sending your comments to the good folks over at WPPI ([email protected]). You don’t know how much it helps to shoot them a quick email!!! I hope to present for many more years 🙂
Me giving a presentation at the liveBooks booth
Filming our newest ShootDotEdit video with our sponsor photographers Dane Sanders, Me Ra Koh, Sara France, and Marc Weisburg. Geez, are we blessed with some awesome photographers!
Bronson doing his usual photo during my presentation – he does this every time we present 🙂
Probably the best part of the presentation – a dance-off with Bronson. Winner got their choice of DVD’s from Me Ra and I!
Even dotMan got involved with the dance-off!
I promise I’m not saying “heil hitler” – I just use my hands a lot when I present!
Our lovely and wonderful Kristin
John and Cindy had to home a little early but the rest of Team Bauman – out to dinner at PF Changs after my presentation!
Did I mention we all ended up sleeping in
one room . . . . long story.
