This weeks featured Bauman Lunch is kind of a throwback or at least it felt like it. We went to a one of our favorite restaurants and had one of our Bauman veteran team members join us for lunch. The location was Pizza Nova in Hillcrest and our veteran team member was Kristin.
The lunch started with some great would you rather questions and some of our favorite garlic balls. They brought them fresh from the oven to our table. They were perfect the only thing that was missing was the parmesan cheese to top them and give them that extra flavor.
Pizza Nova is known for their gourmet woodfire pizzas, but if you go there and you are not in a pizza mood make sure to try their wraps. They are awesome. Their wraps are huge and delicious. We usually end up sharing them because they are just too big to finish alone.
Bronson and Jacob shared the Spicy Chicken Wrap which came with grilled chicken breast, avacado, lettuce, sauteed red onions, chili aioli and cheese. Jared and I shared their new Jalapeno BBQ Chicken Wrap which came with grilled chicken tossed in BBQ sauce with sauteed onions and jalapenos., mozzarella cheese, lettuce and ranch dressing. Kristin took the low carb route and got the salad which looked big and filling.
Pizza Nova is a place I highly recommend you try. The food is great and the portions are big enough to share. Each wrap cost us only $9.25 so by splitting them and adding a free entree coupon from the Downtown Coupons Magazine we had a very affordable lunch.
