It’s true, I have never blogged before! In an effort to impress my new co-workers I am going to have to learn this thing fast!
Seeing as this is my first blog, I will try to be as un-original as possible, providing the general public and our lovely readers with raw, unadulterated facts about ME and my role here at Grape Street.
Fact: My name is Kristin. I like this name, I think it’s pretty. My last name, currently Kalleberg, will be changing sometime after January 20th when I marry a very handsome man with the last name Murdock.
Fact: The commute from La Mesa to Grape Street is significantly more fun and less stressful than the commute was from La Mesa to Mira Mesa. So far, working with brides, photographers, and pictage have also proven far more enjoyable than having brokers yell “Buy! Buy! Buy! Sell! Sell! Sell!”
Fact: My favorite place is Disneyland. I love pretty much everything about it. I am still bitter about the change from the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse to Tarzan’s treehouse. Who even likes Tarzan?
Fact: Today was my first day answering the phones. There have been so many firsts today!! So far everyone was very nice and no one told me I sounded like an incompetent kangaroo when I talked to them, hopefully it will get better every day! If you want to help me practice, please feel free to call in and ask all sorts of detailed questions.
Fact: The 2 boys, 1 girl dynamic is good. Hopefully this won’t change. I’ll be sure to blog about it if it does. 🙂
I think that’s it for me. I’m excited about working with all of you and getting to know the business as well as Bronson and Jared do.
