I’m back! Finally! In the last 31 days, I have been on the road traveling for 25 days! I’ve been to San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York, and Australia, covering over 25,000 miles and 12 different plane flights! I’ve had a blast . . . and its good to be back 🙂
So I thought I’d show you the team I went to Australia with:

Kleon Howe of The Art of Travel – the man who put all this together. Kleon is an absolutely brilliant man, and he really put together a gem of a team for this destination wedding idea in Australia.

Paula Laskelle of Champagne Tastes – perhaps the sweetest lady I’ve ever met, Paula is a wedding planner in Orange County. She does the most amazing of weddings and has a ton of knowledge about the wedding industry. I learned so much from her in the short two weeks.

Jessica Gillon of Events By Design – Jessica was the first person to mention this idea to me, and as soon as I heard it, I jumped all over it. Jessica is a brilliant coordinator who has assembled an all-star team in her company. She also is a very good friend of Sara and I 🙂

Liz Beck of Liz Beck Weddings and Events – Its funny because I’ve known Liz for several years as a coordinator, but I’ve never had an opportunity to really ever get to know her. She and I hit it off SO well (for those of you who know Kristin, they have very similar personalities). Liz has really done well in this industry in a very short time period, and I’m looking forward to working with her in the future.

Robert Lynn of Lynn & Fortune, LLP – Robert is an attorney and came along to do all the legal stuff involved with starting an overseas company. Robert was the perfect addition to this team, as we all got a little goofy and ridiculous throughout the weeks, and he was the perfect compliment. He also is really giving and gave me some valuable insight!

Oh, and me 🙂

Some other notables: Sheridan from Tourism New South Wales

And Leslie from Tourism Tasmania. These ladies, Leslie in particular, were with us every second, coordinating all the integral details on our trip. Seriously, they took care of every little detail, and made our trip possible. We were able to see and accomplish so much in such a short period of time, and these ladies made all that possible!

We did another bridal shoot in Tasmania – here are a few of my favorites!

The Sydney Ope
ra House – this time after the sun had gone down 🙂

Sunrise on Mount Wellington in Tasmania – did I mention this is from my hotel room balcony?

I am now the world’s biggest fan of Australian wine – simply amazing!

One of several jacuzzi suites available to each guest at one of the hotels we looked at. Check out that view!!!!!

Duncan and his wife (I’m 99% sure its his wife . . . she had a ring on, and they acted like they were married, and I can’t remember if he introduced her as his wife . . . you know when it would just be awkward to ask because its too far along since meeting them? It was one of those situations!
Anyways, they took us on a boat tour of Honeymoon Bay in Tasmania. Liz had arranged to throw a bottle into the bay for Laura from the Jeff and Jer show on STAR 94.1. Liz called into the radio show and was on air last Friday from Australia – it was quite exciting! You can see the pictures below or on STAR’s site!

The bottle had a note written by Laura and a picture . . . to whoever finds it 🙂

Overall, I’ve had a great time traveling, photographing, and speaking over the past month. I’m excited to be back for the next month and start wedding season 🙂
