It has been about a year since one of our favorite lunch spots was taken out of comission…The Cabo Cafe…amazing Crispy shrimp burritos, cheap nachos, the list goes on. Sniffle.
I know, I know, you are wondering what that has to do with the Red Shoe Shuffle. Well, one of the reasons we loved the Cabo Cafe is that it is right next door to the Monarch school – the kids were always around and as a matter of fact, some of them worked there which was really great to be able to eat great and support the school. It all takes place at Liberty Station on October 18th and is a 5k run-walk that goes through historic parts of San Diego.
