The Second annual Art of Fashion event at the Timken Museum in Balboa Park is now a much celebrated, attended affair! I was able to be there for the Timken to shoot some great images that celebrate the event and all that goes into it.
The FCC, Fashion Careers College has been involved since the beginning and it is a really fun event to witness. The concept is similar to another event I photographed recently at the SDMA called ArtAlive! – Similar in the idea that the designs that the models are wearing in these images are based on paintings hanging in the Timken museum! It is so fun to see whether the designer (students and graduates of FCC) based the design loosely on the painting or translated it more literally. Here are a few images…enjoy!
