Amid all the craziness of weddings every Saturday, its always great to break away and do something a little different. Friends of Scott, a charity focused on helping children with cancer and their families, had a fundraising event right here in Little Italy at the Little Italy Spagheterria. They called me up and asked to help with the photography, which I was really excited to do.
It really was an amazing event. First off, they did the restaurant up to the extreme! I felt like I was walking the streets of Italy! Also, the food looked amazing (I never had a chance to grab a bite 🙂 Lastly, what a generous bunch of people that attended. It is touching to hear the stories and see the kids touched by the organization. Its hard not to walk away touched. Often times, I feel like I go to these events with the goal of helping these kids and their families. Ultimately, I leave the event a changed person.
