This week the Bauman Team decided to try an island style BBQ lunch at Chamorro Grill in Mission Valley. Jacob, Bronson and Zimmer ordered the daily lunch special for $5 which included fried chicken over a bed of rice and a side of macaroni salad. The boys seemed to enjoy it, however Zimmer was not pleased with how incredibly spicy it was! But she also ordered the Spam Musubi which were delish (even though it was Spam)! Eder and Josh tried the Fiesta Combo Plate for $9 that included chicken and beef with 2 scoops of rice (white and red) and a side dish of Pancit (stir fry rice noodles with chicken and veggies). The combo was more than enough food, it clearly could have fed two people. Bronson felt the fried chicken seemed a little strange, like it was fried in the wrong oil and Josh could have used a little more teriyaki sauce and seasoning. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Aside from discussing our meals, we decided to partake in a little arm wrestling competition. Bronson took on everyone at the table and was able to hold the victory title of the 2010 Bauman Lunch Arm Wrestling Champion! Overall, another fun Bauman Lunch with great company!
