This week we went to El Indio, a Mexican restaurant near the San Diego Airport. On our way there we saw an El Indio delivery car, so we had to follow it and take some cool photos of it.
This restaurant had a lot of good things going for it. The menu was easy to understand and the prices where reasonable. The line was not long and it was easy to find seating. The ambiance was great too. There where cool details throughout the restaurant, like the painted ceilings or the interesting patterns on the chairs.
The food came fast and it was tasty. There was also a lot of it. The combination plates where a good size and came filled to the rim with rice and beans.
The staff was also super friendly. At one point the owner of the restaurant stopped at our table to say hi. It is nice to see that type of hospitality still.
