One of my favorite things about Culture and Cocktails at the San Diego Museum of Art is the fact that every one is different from the last one – Sarah, their event coordinator does an amazing job coming up with new ideas for each one and this one was no exception! The theme was based around the Japanese block prints that were freshly displayed in one of the galleries and they enhanced the theme with live drummers, make-your-own screen printed t-shirt with your choice of Japanese themed designs, and of course, Sapporo! Whenever I am asked to do any San Diego event photography, I try to photograph as many details and people as I can to get a good sense of the event as a whole and the people of Culture and Cocktails are always obliging and happy to be in pictures!
