It was a rainy morning as all 7 of us packed into the car to drive up to Disneyland, most were very excited for the day ahead, Bronson, Josie and Jared were chatting it up on the drive out there as Zimmer was still trying to wake up from the 7:30am departure time. We got our daily coffee and we were off! Upon arriving, we were greeted by Jared’s wonderful cousin who works there and who was pleased to see all of us there, despite the rain! Our first mission was Space Mountain! We took full advantage of all the Fast Pass lines and the Park Hopper Tickets as we roamed the streets of Disneyland and CA Adventures! Something I was unaware of, as most of you may be is the slight obsession these boys (and Miss Joise!) have with the Buzz Lightyear attraction. It was as if they could stay on that attraction all day long, trying to beat each others previous scores…silly boys! On a side note…Joise, our Senior Intern used to work at Disneyland so she was our fabulous tour guide for the day and was a wealth of Disneyland knowledge! Does anyone know what the oldest attraction is in the park? This stumped all of us as we waited in line for the Toy Story attraction (not ride). Josh and his amazing wife Sam got the answer right before we stepped on the ride and they were awarded a delicious churro! After a few classic rides in Disneyland, we stepped over to CA Adventures which Zimmer and Eder had never been to! Our first stop was Soaring Over California which was something to experience if you haven’t already! After our first ride in that park we stopped for lunch at Storeyteller’s Cafe which in located in the Grand Californian Hotel. It was so nice to sit down for a great meal and figure out our game plan for the rest of the day! The bread basket came out with warm dinner rolls and cornbread as we all scarfed down our food and loaded up on soda to refuel for the rest of our day! Then it was onto the next ride, California Screamin! Now, Zimmer has a fear of rollercoastes (as I’m sure you can tell in the photos) but Joise was such a good support! Later in the day the boys took advantage of the sun and hopped on the Grizzly River Run and came out soaked! We all started to wind down after turning in our fast passes to a last ride on Space Mountain and, of course, how could we not, on Buzz Lightyear. We stopped for a quick dinner at Flame Broiler in Irvine and the car ride home was filled with lots of loopy comments and laughing. What an incredible day!!
