It was a fun time getting meet Erica and Sam during their engagement session. From the get go they where so easy going and ready to let loose and have fun in their photos. Sam is originally from the Midwest, but has been living in San Diego because he is in the military. When he decided to propose to Erica, he flew out his family to have them share in the moment and even got them involved to make sure Erica was surprised. Sam wrote his proposal and put it in a bottle and put it near the rocks. To make sure that no one walked away with it, he had his brother standing near by. When the couple walked by it, Erica spotted it but did not want to touch it since it might be for someone else. But after a little encouragement from Sam she picked it up and read the note inside. She said yes!
Their Coronado engagement session was so much fun. We started at the Hotel Del Coronado and did some photos in their courtyard. We then took a short break and enjoyed a drink on the patio, and then even got their dog in on the photo fun. It was a great day for portraits on the beach. The weather was great and we got a really colorful sunset.
