Bauman Lunch this week was spent at a Vietnamese Restaurant, Pho Ca Dao on El Cajon Blvd. We were all pleasantly surprised by Josie’s husband, Paul joining us for lunch! We all tried a different Pho, some had ones with meatballs, while Bronson and Paul had Pho with various types of meats including congealed pork blood! Others had Pho with grilled tiger shrimp, rice noodles and egg rolls. Zimmer stuck with lemongrass meat and rice and we all split an order of egg rolls to start with. All the soup bowls come with plates of extra seasonings and garnishes like cilantro, parsley and bean sprouts as well as little bowls of difference sweet and sour sauces. To top off the meal, Bronson had a Boba drink which came with tapioca, ice, edamame and pinto beans…you decide if you could have drunken that!
