Bauman Lunch this week took us to Smash Burger in Mission Valley! We all seemed to be in the mood for a good old burger and fries…this time around, we knew how and what to order. Eder had the “San Diego Burger” which had fresh avocado, fresh cilantro and onions, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and spicy chipotle mayo on a torta roll and served with a wedge of lime. He also opted for the side of chili, yum yum! Zimmer had the “Classic” with American cheese, ketchup, leaf lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and our smash sauce on an egg bun. Josie went with the “BBQ, Bacon and Cheddar” which had BBQ sauce, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese and haystack onions on an egg bun. Both Bronson and Jared customized their burgers and we all split some “Smash Fries” which were tossed with rosemary, olive oil and garlic, so amazing! We took a quick detour before getting back in the car to Yogurtland to get a little dessert : ) It was the perfect fall day (about 75 degrees here in San Diego) for a refreshing fro yo before heading back to the Bauman studio!
