Hello Hillcrest! This week the 4 of us drove into Hillcrest to City Delicatessen off of University Ave. We were seated in a booth and made sure to play a few tunes on the old school 50’s jute-box! Josie ordered the Fish & Chips, Eder went with a Pastrami Sandwich, Bronson tried the Beef Shortribs and Zimmer went with the am in the pm and had a side of scrambled eggs and the cheese crepes. In all honestly, we were not blown away by the food, but it was good for a nice home cooked meal. On the way out, Eder stopped by the pastry counter for a “Magic Bar” that was very good for dessert! We made sure to get some fun images on the walk back to the cars, of course! Happy Friday, everyone : )
