Saba and Kristina’s wedding was everything you’d expect from a couple with a knack for grandeur. This theater-loving pair, who got engaged on a rooftop in Morocco (right?!), were married on the stage at the Cygnet Theatre. Did we mention their ceremony backdrop was the current production’s set? Needless to say, it was a pretty amazing day.
This day was not only full of theatrical touches, but was also rich with culture. Saba’s family was able to infuse the ceremony with meaningful Persian traditions, including their own handmade details for the sofreh. And although the day started out rainy, the dark clouds parted just in time for Saba’s mother to perform a traditional Persian dance for the happy couple. The weather turned out to be gorgeous for the reception, reflecting the light and laughter in this family’s heartfelt celebration!
BRAVO on an incredible day, Saba and Kristina! Thank you so much for sharing it with us, and “break a leg” in this new act of life together!
