She was a hostess, he was a waiter.
For a long time, Jason kept his eye on Katie. Working at the same restaurant gave him plenty of opportunities to ask her out, but he waited for the right time. They joke that it took a few tries, but eventually, Jason’s persistence paid off. He took the cutest hostess in the restaurant out on a date, and it soon enough, they couldn’t imagine life without each other!
Katie and Jason love just being together. Their favorite thing to do after crunching the numbers at work (they are both numbers-people!) is to come home, snuggle on the couch, and spend the evening watching movies or binge-watching Netflix. Because of their busy schedules, they absolutely LOVE any chance they can get to be next to each other! In fact, they love this tradition (and their couch) so much that Jason popped the question just before one of their movie nights! It was so so SO perfect for them!
We are already counting down the days until their wedding this June, but until then we are relishing in their snuggly Torrey Pines engagement session! Katie and Jason — you two are WAY too much fun to hang out with! Can’t wait for next time. 🙂
