Product Photography: What The Client Needed
We are thrilled to share a recent lifestyle product photography session in our San Diego studio!
Our relationship providing quality product photography for Perspective Fitwear began several years ago, and it’s been a creative JOY ever since. Perspective Fitwear is local to San Diego, and we appreciate that they chose to partner with a local product photographer! Together, we have developed a brand-specific look for their vibrant fitness apparel.
When they first inquired with us, the team at Perspective was just starting up their local San Diego fitwear company, and they needed images to fill in the gaps with their marketing materials, from their e-commerce storefronts to their social media feeds.
One-Stop-Shop:
E-Commerce and Lifestyle Product Photography
First, the Perspective team knew they needed consistent, crisp e-commerce photography for their website’s catalog of fitness apparel. Not only would this require consistent posing, but it would mean their pieces should “pop” against a pure white backdrop. We added clipping paths to their post-production service to provide them with this crisp studio photography look.
But in today’s fast-paced e-commerce world, simple white-background product photography wasn’t enough to make them stand out. Perspective also needed dynamic, colorful, eye-catching images with real people wearing their fitness apparel. In other others, they needed lifestyle product photography that would stop the shopper’s social media scroll.
We have an ongoing relationship with Perspective Fitwear to capture their seasonal items and increasing inventory, so we get to see this crew often! From the e-commerce product photography we’ve produced for their catalog of fitness apparel, to the lifestyle images that fill out their social media feeds and banner images… it truly never gets old working with Perspective! We can’t wait for next quarter’s shoot with their fabulous crew!
The Perfect Built-In Photography Studio
Our San Diego photo/video studio, Skylight Studios, is the perfect playground for a photoshoot like this! Because Skylight Studios is our home studio space, the Perspective team didn’t have to worry about sourcing a rental space for their shoot (not to mention, paying for a rental space!).
It may go without saying, but our team at Bauman Photographers has a BLAST each and every time we collaborate with Perspective! Working with talented models, a laser-sharp creative team, and all sorts of fun and colorful lighting? It’s a lifestyle photographer’s dream.
