For our Signature Headshots, we like to make the process personal to you so that you get the images that you want. Whether you’re looking for a serious corporate photo to use for your website, or something more artistic that suits your career, we want to make sure that you walk away happy.
And one last minute call to Bauman Photographers ended up with Sang Song walking away incredibly happy and with the perfect introspective, moody headshot that he can feature in programs when his “sad classical music”, as he refers to it, is played across the world!
Meeting Sang Song
When Sang first called Bauman Photographers, he was a little hesitant about getting his photo taken for a Signature Headshot, which is why we invited him to our studio to personally tour and meet our lead photographer, Bronson.
While here, he got to tour our studio and get to know the people who he’d be working with. Not only was this an absolutely incredible experience for us getting to meet such a talented and intelligent individual such as Sang, it allowed Sang to express exactly what he wanted for his headshot so we could make sure he walked away with photos that he loved and would be able to use.
Creating Sang Song’s Signature Headshot
After this meeting, he sent us a selection of images he had taken in the past, letting us know which image he wanted to recreate, with it being both serious yet dreamy, and which photos he had taken in the past that he liked, but didn’t think nailed his vision for his headshot.
During this time, Bronson curated a look and vibe that he thought would be perfect for Sang, thinking of poses and lighting that would create a serious yet dreamy look for Sang’s Signature Headshot. By utilizing reflectors, various angles of light, and our dark grey Cyc, Bronson was able to create the perfect mood for Sang’s session.
It was only a few days later that Sang had his session– and he was able to relax in front of the camera, having known and worked with Bronson to express his vision. As he got to enjoy our green room, music system, and more, Bronson and Sang worked together to create hundreds of images for Sang to choose from after the session so he could get the perfect images for his five Signature Headshot images.
With light retouching to remove wrinkles from his shirt and any imperfections on the Cyc wall, Sang ended up with the perfect images for his playbill appearances and concert advertisements– and a great experience with Bronson, and Bauman Photographers!
