When you think of retouching event photography, you might think of the more extreme touch-ups and photoshop jobs– but with Bauman Photographers, our editing services come at any level and type; from Level 1, where we’ll do basic touch-ups and fixes to Level 2, where we can create your dream family photo or portrait with more in-depth retouching services.

Levels of Retouching Event Photography
For our Level 1 retouching, we offer basic services such as reducing redness in your skin, wrinkle softening and skin-smoothing, removing flyaways, and removing wrinkles in your clothing to make sure you look your best. Included in our wall-art packages, we’ll make sure you look flawless with our basic retouching.
If you’re interested in more serious editing, this would fall under our Level 2 retouching package. With Level 2 retouching, we offer services such as face swapping, eye-opening, removing people out of the background, and removing braces.
Level 2 Retouching for Event Photography
Do you absolutely adore a group portrait, but there’s at least one person looking away or not smiling in every photograph we got?
With face-swapping, we offer the ability to edit your favorite group portrait to have everyone looking their best. We’ll simply take the face of your family member or team member from another photograph of your family together, and overlay it onto the portrait of your choice– so you end up with the perfect portrait!
A more subtle version of this would be our eye-opening service; if one of your family members is smiling with their eyes closed in your favorite portrait, we’d be happy to edit their eyes open by using another photograph of them from another portrait. More subtle retouching than the full face swap, our eye-opening editing will make sure your favorite photo looks it’s best.
We are also happy to edit people out or into your photos; whether they were caught in the background of your family portrait, photo-bombing, or you want a photo of your family without one person, we’re happy to accommodate your request! We also are happy to add in any missing family or team member, if you have a photo of them from the event so you’re able to have everyone in your favorite portrait– even if someone had snuck away to the buffet or bathroom.
This form of retouching event photography is also particularly useful for corporate events. Whether you have a photo where someone was caught in the background of your team portrait or awards ceremony photograph, or where an employee has left the company, we’ll have our production team artfully edit out whomever you’d like removed so your photo ends up looking exactly the way you wanted.
