Customizing Corporate Event Photography
We first learned about the Markforged Global Partner Summit when we were approached by the talented team at Destination Concepts, Inc., a group of coordinators who create corporate events for major companies around the country. A group that we’ve worked with often to provide event photography, Step & Repeats, Headshot Booths and more, we were thrilled to get to photograph another one of their fabulous events. For this event, they had partnered with Markforged to host their annual Global Partner Summit; this year at the Intercontinental San Diego.
Markforged, a company that creates revolutionary and affordable metal and carbon fiber 3d prints, was looking for a team to provide coverage of their entire event, from their cocktail hour where employees from across the country could mingle & catch up to their awards ceremony & company announcements, where they announced how they had done in Q4 and awarded those who had helped them there. As Destination Concepts, Inc. let us know that they were interested in two different types of coverage, we created a customized corporate event photography plan featuring both roaming general coverage & our speciality awards show coverage.
Working with Bauman Photographers
One of the things that sets Bauman Photographers apart is how several of our photographers are cross-trained in various styles of photography, allowing a seamless & fluid style through various parts of corporate events. At the event, our photographer artfully captured both candid photography & what we affectionately call “Grip & Grins”, or group portraits of the Markforged team, as well as awards ceremony coverage, during which our photographer worked around the room to provide multiple angles and views of the ceremony.
