Embarking on a new journey is never easy, especially when it involves following a passion that diverges from one’s original path. Meet Arina, a former engineering student who dared to take a leap of faith, transitioning her life from the bustling streets of New York City to the enchanting realm of acting. A dreamer at heart, Arina was eager to step into the world of acting, but like many aspiring performers, she found herself at a crossroads, unsure of where and how to begin.

As she set her sights on an acting career, one essential step loomed before her: the creation of her actor headshots. Enter her journey towards her headshots – a crucial component in her pursuit of the acting world. Arina knew that these photos would be the first impression casting directors and agents would have of her, so she set out to create headshots that would not only showcase her versatility but also exude her genuine personality.

Coming in, our team discussed what she wanted in her session & the looks she wanted to pursue. Wanting to have a variety of looks that would catch the eye, we envisioned a session that would tell casting directors, “I am ready for anything you throw my way.” & dreamt up ways we could capture images that would do just such for her!
To achieve this, Arina wisely invested in a hair and makeup session, recognizing that every detail counts when it comes to creating a captivating headshot. Armed with professional styling by Heather Arnold, she radiated confidence and charm, traits that would undoubtedly shine through the lens.
With an additional 5-pack of photos in hand, Arina was prepared to step in front of the camera. The session itself became a canvas for her creativity, allowing her to transform into various characters and personas. Her personality shots, in particular, captured the essence of her spirit – the infectious laughter, the quiet contemplation, the enigmatic allure – each frame telling a story of its own and the role that she could easily step into.
Working with our photographer, Arina effortlessly posed throughout our studio & created photos that were both fresh & fun, as well as moody & intriguing. Her collection became a mosaic of roles waiting to be inhabited – a testament to her willingness to explore the depths of her talent and embrace the unknown.
