I feel so fortunate to have had this wedding this year! Debbie and Soun met with me a few weeks before their wedding and we hit it off quite well – quickly we did an engagement session and got excited for the wedding. They held their ceremony at the Japanese Friendship Gardens in Balboa Park which turned out to be perfect for the time of day that they had their ceremony. Afterward, we got one of my favorite shots of the year – the light was coming through the bamboo like I have never seen. So cool!
I was blessed to have Cary Pennington shooting with me and the whole day proved why November in San Diego is a perfectly fine time to get married – it was gorgeous. The wedding party was quite fun and really went nuts on the dance floor later at the reception at the Lucky Star Restaurant.
