When Heather Parkin, founder of Bennd Yoga, reached out to us to capture their latest line of yoga mats, she knew we had the eye for detail that she needed to capture the delicate details she includes in her product design. An Ayurvedic yoga company, each design features details and materials meant to honor the background of Yoga; a way to celebrate all of those who had practiced beforehand and tie you together to the early roots of the practice.
Bringing a Detailed Eye to E-Commerce Product Photography
With their choices to use natural materials & have every mat created by hand every step of the process by traditional craftsmen, quality is important to the entire team at Bennd, so we made sure Heather walked away with images that she was happy with. Welcoming the Bennd Yoga team into our studio, they sat with us as we took our first shots of their product to make sure every detail was correct, from lighting to angles & more. Once they were happy with the first shots we captured, we got to work; capturing every facet & detail of the product so the consumer would be able to see every small choice their design team had made, and that had been lovingly hand-crafted.
Choosing to upgrade to the pure white backdrop that they use both on their own retail website, as well as on the website of their retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, their product photography seamlessly blends into the background & creates a flawless, professional look when added to their online store. With small stray tassel fibers removed & retouched with our level 1 retouching, their e-commerce product photography catches the eye of the consumer & shows off a flawless product that any yoga fanatic would love to use in their day to day practice.

In the end, Bennd Yoga was able to walk away with the perfect e-commerce photography that catches the eye of the yoga fanatic & shows off the thoughtful details of their product in their online store (see examples below!), from the delicate details of the trim of their mat to the intricate color patterns.
