It was a beautiful afternoon for a wedding in San Diego. The skies were a rich blue with patches of accent clouds and there was a warm breeze. I was excited to finally get to meet Jessica and Michael, a great couple who flew across the country to exchange their vows and become one on the Hornblower Emerald in the San Diego Bay.
The Emerald left the dock and their ceremony began shortly. The boat cruised through the bay and the sun began to set behind the hilly Point Loma peninsula. Jessica and Michael exchanged vows and rings, then kissed for the first time as husband and wife. It was a magical moment.
Mother nature took out it’s finest paint brushes that afternoon and painted the skies in bright blue, orange and purple. Our captain pointed the boat in the right direction and we were able to capture some awesome sunset portraits.
The celebration continued in to the night as we cruised back and forth throughout the San Diego Bay from Point Loma to Coronado.
Congratulations to Jessica and Michael!
