This wedding was INCREDIBLE! So many of the weddings I have had the honor of shooting this year have had a lot of significance to me beyond just wedding photography and this wedding was certainly one of those. Lindsay and Matt both attended Point Loma Nazarene University so I knew them from there (and that Jacob was roommates with Matt) and this type of connection always brings a big sense of connection to the wedding party, and all the guests but also I feel invested in the ceremony, the vows, the couple.
I had a ton of fun shooting this wedding and took every opportunity I could to make photos that really bang/pop/fizz. We started with prep at Humphreys and made our way to NTC for photos with the guys and then headed over to a friends house for shots of the girls. After a beautiful ceremony at the North Chapel, we headed over to the event center for the great dinner, some hilarious toasts (especially by her dad) and the hoppin’ dance floor.
