What a great way to end the year…Megan and Santos are friends from college who decided to have their wedding near their family in Orville. You may not have heard of Oroville so for a point of reference, it is about an hour and a half from Sacramento. The place is beautiful in many ways and has lots of deer – I nearly hit one on the way to the rehearsal!
The wedding was held at the Country Club which sits right above the Oroville Dam.
Megan and Santos had so many close friends and family there it felt like a big church gathering. When I walked through the reception I could feel the love and attention from the guests surrounding these two. It was pretty neat. Funny part is, they went on their honeymoon the next day and stayed on Kauai. This is only funny because Megan (my wife) and I were on the same island a few days later! (I’ll be posting pictures from the cruise soon).
