Nothing like working with friends! I met both Shannon and Michael – before they started dating – back in college at UCSD. We were all part of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, so I got to know them throughout the course of my fours years there. I find it very interesting watching friends move on to being . . . well, more than friends. I always wonder if that’ll be me someday; if I’ll realize how amazing one of my friends is and end up falling in love with her. Thats a bit of a romantic idea. . . Anyhow, I love the example this couple is and how they live their lives. Whether it be Shannon picking up and leaving for a missions trip to Africa, or Michael dedicating his first year out of college to helping students, both have an amazing heart. Their wedding was a wonderful showcase of their commitment to God, and I feel very blessed to be a part of it. And how cool do the guys look in kilts???
