At the end of May, Jared and Bronson shot a beautiful wedding at the La Jolla Country Club. The bride and groom Suzanna and Jason planned a wedding full of tradition. They had widespread common traditions like the beautiful white wedding cake made by Twiggs Bakery.
Which of course they cut together and fed to one another.
The bride also decided to incorporate some older traditions, she surprised the groom with an older southern tradition that we don’t see much of: the groom’s cake.
The guys were able to capture all the excitement and emotion with their candid photography style.
The groom’s cake is usually a much more colorful and fun cake
…and according to superstition all the single women at the wedding are suppose to take a piece of the groom’s cake home and sleep with it under their pillow. If they do this, that night it is said that they will dream about their future husband.
