We here at 
Bauman Photography obviously shoot a good number of weddings so it is always a treat to branch out and do something different (this is one of my favorite aspects of this line of work). On Monday, we did some of this so called “branching” and I loved every minute. Stephanie and her husband are due in a few weeks to have a baby and she excitedly called to see if we could do a maternity session – Of course! She was well aware of my lack of maternity portfolio but knew that we could do something good. Lindsay and I met them at Horton Plaza for an early morning session knowing that the light would be good and the crowds would be thin/non-existent. We had a blast and as you can guess she was a good sport even though she was ready to burst! Later we did some studio work to round out the shoot.
I suppose this is the reward one gets for going out on a limb!
