When you work with Bauman Photographers for E-Commerce Product Photography, we’ll always work to make sure that your products pop and look their best when your customers visit where your products are retailed online. From basic Level 1 retouching included in your product photography service with us to optional add-ons, we’re happy to work with you and find the best look for your product.
In Level 1 retouching, we’ll work with you to correct any minor blemishes on your product that you’d like retouched, such as nicked surfaces and branding on any props that you have provided to help photograph your product. This has been used by clients in the past to repair damage done throughout the shipping process in order to save time and money on shipping extra samples from the manufacturer.
What is Level Two Retouching?
If you’re interested in more heavy retouching such as Clipping Paths, an upgrade to a Pure White Background, Ghost Mannequins, Compositing, Color Masking, and beyond, we’d love to work alongside you to see what upgrades we can offer to make sure your images are what you’d like. Upgrades such as these would be considered to be Level 2 retouching, as they take more time and effort from our production team to complete.
As we’ve worked with clients as their businesses grow, many have chosen upgrades that have fallen under Level 2 retouching– with the most popular being our pure white background as it allows E-Commerce photography to flawlessly blend into the background of online retailers such as Amazon. Chosen by customers to give a professional look and draw eyes to the product instead of the background when listed on such sites, it helps them give a professional appearance to their brand.
Similarly, our E-Commerce clients such as Yeah Body Activewear and Altum who sell clothing often look to include ghost mannequins in their photography. A Level 2 request, we’ll path out the mannequins used to display the clothes. By doing so, it gives the clothing a more lifelike appearance, and allows your clients a better idea of the appearance when worn while keeping the focus on your product, rather than on those wearing it.
